Alice Earlene Loher was 80 years old when she died peacefully at her home on March 12, 2020, surrounded by her family in Lone Tree, Colorado. Alice was born on August 27, 1939 in Warsaw, Indiana to Russell & Loretta Kelly. She grew up and went to school in her hometown of Warsaw. On September 14, 1958, she married Wilmer Loher.
On June 5, 2005, she along with her husband Wilmer retired and moved to Colorado to be closer to their children. Alice was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother! She really enjoyed sewing and was an amazing seamstress, cook, and baker!
She loved doing crafts, and was so very talented! In her retirement years, she and Wilmer enjoyed traveling with her sister Marlene and brother-in-law Jerry. She loved shopping, drinking coffee, and going on walks and having talks with her girls!
Alice is survived by her husband, Wilmer; daughters: Cynthia Mazzara (Sal) and Suellen Loher (Doug); grandchildren: Travis Kinney, Zach (Danielle) Kinney, Anthony (McKenna) Mazzara; her sweet little great grandson, Baby Jackson; and many other wonderful family members.
A Celebration of Life ceremony for Alice will be held at a later date due to the unfortunate circumstances that we are all experiencing due to the COVID-19 virus.
In lieu of cards and flowers, hospice were our angels here on earth, so we have chosen for donations to be made to New Century Hospice in Alice Loher's name. Checks may be made payable to New Century Hospice and mailed to 380 Perry Street, Suite 210, Castle Rock, CO 80104.
