Allen P. Deckers

Allen P. Deckers, age 49, of Littleton, CO, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1975, in Michigan, the son of Coleen (Ohlert) and Scott Deckers. 

Survivors include his wife, Deanne Deckers; children, Jessica, Jared, Bryce, Logan and Lauren; grandchildren, Ian and Reina; sister, Laci Anders and his parents, Scott and Laurie Deckers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Coleen Ohlert.

Allen grew up in San Angela, TX and joined the Navy at age 18, following in the footsteps of military service family. His love for the water steered him to a life as a Submariner. He retired after 24 years, as Lieutenant Commander, of adventure in the Navy and started a second career with Lockheed Martin as a Quality Engineer and manager. 

His passions included cooking, gardening, cycling, hunting and fishing, but nothing more than spending time with his children while supporting their interests. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Friday, February 21, 2025 at Heflebower Funeral Services, 8955 S Ridgeline Blvd, Suite 100, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.
