Andrew R. Schuy

Andrew Schuy, age 61, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2023 in Castle Rock, Colorado.

He was born February 2, 1962, in Pullman, Washington, to David and Betty Jean (Snelling) Schuy. Andrew was a 1980 graduate of Green Mountain High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree at University of Washington in 1985.

He married Teresa (Cobos) Shaull on March 28, 1995 in Denver, Colorado. Andrew worked as a mailman for 17 years before retiring due to an illness. Andrew enjoyed woodworking, fishing, photography and was always up for a riveting game of scrabble. Another one of Andrew's favorite pass time was to read about history. His favorite author was Doris Kearns Goodwin and his favorite book was Team of Rivals. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Andrew also loved building with Lego's, so much that he turned his basement into a Lego Museum.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Jean (Snelling) Schuy. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, his stepdaughter Cindy (Shaull) Connors, his brother, Sam Schuy; his two sisters, Kathy (Schuy) Austin and Michele (Schuy) Hillmer; and several nephews, and a niece.

Andrew's family will not be holding a Celebration of Life.
