Carol A. Medsker, 70 of Centennial, CO., passed away early Saturday morning, April 19, 2014.Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM - Sunday, April 27th at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 9203 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO. In Lieu of Flowers the Family suggests Memorials to Centura Health - Hospice Services, 5020 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO. 80122. She was born January 5, 1944 in Denver, Colorado, daughter of James L. & Jennie L. Taylor.Carol was a native of Colorado and grew up in Englewood. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1962. On September 16, 1967 she married Don Medsker, also of Englewood, Colorado. Carol had 2 step children, Ginny and Dan, as well as 2 children with Don, Zac and Emily. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was constantly surrounded by people who loved her. She was well known for making people laugh and her great sense of humor. Carol was also very compassionate, always the first to help those in need. For many years, Carol was an avid quilter, well known in the quilting community for her excellent applique skills. She taught classes, quilted in bees, and was President of Arapahoe County Quilters. After raising her children, Carol got her real estate license and embarked on a career in real estate sales. She joined Keller Williams Realty in 1997 and went on to build a great business. During her years at Keller Williams, Carol served not only her clients but also became a valuable asset to her office. She taught classes, served on many committees, mentored new agents, and was a designated broker. Carol was always available help when needed. Carol was treasured by family and friends alike. She touched the many, many people around her with her kindness, generous spirit, friendship and love. We are all better people for having known her, and she will be greatly missed.
