Christine Mary Mendoza

Christine Mary Mendoza, age 40, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 8, 1983 in Denver, Colorado, to Eugene and Caroline Medina and was an extremely proud 2001 graduate of Columbine High School. Christine married Paul Brian Mendoza on July 29, 2006 in Littleton, Colorado, with whom she raised two beautiful children – Tyler Timothy Medina-Mendoza and Gabriella Katherine Mendoza.

Having a great appreciation for life, Christine always sought to make the MOST of EVERYDAY – living each day to the fullest. She absolutely LOVED her children, Tyler and Gabriella, and was always looking to hangout, have fun and express her love and admiration towards them. She was, is and always will be so proud of them. Her children are her "Greatest Accomplishments."

Christine and her husband Paul were genuinely and absolutely in love with each other. In addition to their shared love, they were best friends and never sat still, or took each other for granted. Whether weekly date nights, or trips with and without the children, they never became complacent with one another in their relationship.

Anyone who knew Christine knew all too well how much she loved holidays and family gatherings. Christine took a backseat to no one when it came to holiday and home decor, hosting parties, get-togethers and events. Creating and hosting these gatherings was a passion of hers and she poured her heart and soul into the smallest of details to make special, fun-filled memories for everyone.

Christine was preceded in death by her father Eugene Medina. She is survived by her mother, Caroline M Medina; her husband, Paul Brian Mendoza; her son, Tyler Timothy Medina- Mendoza; her daughter, Gabriella Katherine Mendoza; her brother, Derek T Medina and wife Wendy Medina and their daughters, Sierra and Brianna Medina; her sister Katherine A Medina and her children, Laryssa Zamora (Paul), Zachary Zamora (Brianna, Briella) and Lauryn Zamora.

Being the beautiful, kind, and compassionate person that she was, Christine asks that in lieu of flowers, please do what you can to help a needy child, rescue a dog to give them a forever home and that you say something nice to someone – it might change their life. The world needs so much more of God's love and light to shine through.

Christine’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life service at Authentic Life Church, 6500 W Coal Mine Ave, Littleton, CO 80123, on November 3, 2023 beginning at 11 am. Please join us to share in the crying, laughing, memories and reminiscing. We know that this is what Christine would want.
