Dan Preston passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday October 30th. Dan was born in Detroit, MI but mostly grew up in Oklahoma and Louisiana and spent his adult life living in Denver. He is a graduate of the University of Denver. He was an entrepreneur and salesman in various industries. Dan is survived by Sue Preston, his wife of 51 years. He was a proud father of 3 children, Christy (and Hari) Dallakoti, Craig (and Mandy) Preston, and Curt (and Danielle) Preston. Dan was happiest when family was together and enjoyed being a grandfather to his 10 grandchildren. A memorial service to honor Dan’s memory will be held on Monday, November 12 at 2:00pm at the Lakewood United Church of Christ, 100 Carr Street Lakewood, CO 80226. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Food Bank of the Rockies www.foodbankrockies.org or Lakewood UCC www.lakewooducc.com
