David Liston, 62, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on August 22, 2024. David was born in Denver Colorado in 1962 but lived many places during his childhood.
David graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering with special Honors.
He began working for Page Digital in 1993 as a software developer. He quickly became recognized for his skill and the thoughtful way he mentored other developers. He was responsible for architecting some of Page Digital’s largest software projects including warehouse and logistics management software for customers such as Lands’ End and Mason Companies. He will be remembered not only for his compassion as a technical leader, but for his brilliance and dedication to quality as a software architect. While he found a great deal of fulfillment in his work, he felt his greatest accomplishment, along with his wife, was raising their son Christopher.
David was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when he was 39 years old. He fought this debilitating disease for over twenty years. First and foremost, on his mind was how to give his family as normal a life as possible.
David will be remembered as a proud father, a Simpsons fanatic, a loyal Denver Broncos fan, and a lover of NASCAR and all things related to auto racing. Everyone that knew him liked him. He was appreciated for his dry wit and intelligence.
David is survived by his wife Katy, and his son Christopher. We will miss him so much!
