It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Dee Vigil, age 64, who left us on August 8, 2024. Donald was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

He cherished his 13 years living on a small ranch in Pine Junction, Colorado. This period of his life was marked by balancing a demanding career with a busy family life. His tireless efforts to excel in his profession, while being a constant source of love and support at home, was a testament to his extraordinary work ethic and deep devotion to his family. These simple yet fulfilling experiences were a showcased Donald’s commitment to family bonding.
In his later years, Don and his Jennifer moved to Highlands Ranch, a decision driven by his desire to be closer to family. This move allowed Don to embrace a new chapter in his life, filled with treasured moments with his loved ones. He delighted in golfing with Tanner and took immense pride in watching Andrew coach their grandsons in football. Observing his daughters as they raised their children brought him great joy and fulfillment. Living in
Highlands Ranch enabled Donald to spend his remaining years surrounded by family, relishing the close-knit connections and making lasting memories.
An avid sports enthusiast, Donald enjoyed playing softball, golfing, and attending Broncos games. His passion for faith was evident through his membership in the men’s group at Mission Hills.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
