Dorothy Alice Olson Hamilton was born on December 31, 1925 to Sture and Mathilda Olson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She made her transition on January 31, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Dorothy lived most of her life in Minnesota but spent many wonderful years with her devoted husband of 70 and ½ years Charles, in their home on Silver Lake, near Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. There she cooked up a storm in her kitchen, read mystery novel after mystery novel and enjoyed the wild life from their screened in porch. They also loved to travel. She worked for Midland Cooperatives/Land o’ Lakes until retiring in the early 90’s. She is preceded in passing by her brothers, Walter and Ted and survived by her Husband Charles Hamilton, Son and daughter in law Rick and Patsy Hamilton of Castle Rock, Colorado, Daughter and Son in law Cindy Hamilton and Ken Brecheisen of Boulder, Colorado, Granddaughter Erin Hamilton of Alexandria, Virginia, Grandson Tyler Stocker of Arvada, Colorado and Nephew David Olson of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her family is missing her greatly but happy her Spirit is free. She lived her life well. A Memorial Service will be held in Minneapolis at a later date.
