Dorothy (Sitter) Hoffman

Dorothy (Sitter) Hoffman of Highlands Ranch, CO passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was 86 years old. Sitter was born in Denver, CO on April 13, 1937 to Dorothy and Purl Brown. Sitter is survived by Roger Hoffman, her husband of nearly 66 years, her sons Chuck Hoffman and Mike Hoffman (Chris), former daughter-in-law Leslie Hoffman, her grandchildren Kyle (Bianca), Austin and Tara Hoffman, great-grandchildren Kolt and Kaden, her nephew and niece Charlie Brown (Katrina Etter) and Polly Davis (Greg) and great niece and nephew Jennifer and Jarrod Davis.

Sitter grew up in Denver, CO and attended South High School and Colorado State University. She earned an associate degree in Secretarial Studies. She married Roger Hoffman on December 28, 1957. She spent her career as a secretary for the Washington School District in AZ.

Sitter was an avid sports fan and loved her Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports, you would always find her cheering at their baseball or softball games, scorebook in hand. You would also find her on the golf course and after, enjoying an Oly Gold over ice. She was always proud that she hit a hole in one before Roger. After her retirement, she enjoyed travelling and full time RVing for several years. One of her favorite trips was an RV trip through Alaska for 5 months in the summer.
