Evelyn Susan Walther

Evelyn was born September 10, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio. She passed away after a short illness on November 17, 2021, in Denver, Colorado. She lived in Sunland, California for over 50 years, where she married in 1959 and raised her three children. In 1996, she moved to Lancaster, California, where she faithfully served at Lancaster Baptist Church and West Coast Baptist College until she moved to Sedalia, Colorado in 2020. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Leo; her son, Craig; and her granddaughter, Danielle Weber. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Cyndy Nicholson; daughter Susie (Tom) Klein; daughter Karen (Bob) Hermanson; and daughter-in-law, Karrie (Jeff) Cook. She is also survived by many grandchildren: Scott (Ava) Nicholson, Amber Harvey, Sierra (Mike) Mitchell, Meghan (Ben) Schuyler, Nicholas (Spencer) Walther, Hunter Klein, Logan (Brett) Ranhofer, Chase Walther, Austen Hermanson and Landon Hermanson; and great-grandchildren: Quinton, Payton, Taylor and Easton Casey; Bailey Harvey; Gage, Jace and Kali Mitchell; and Alex Weber. In lieu of flowers, please consider gifts that could be used to bless the children who attend Silver State Baptist Youth Camp, P.O. Box 181, Sedalia, CO 80135.
