Gary John Mayfield, 59, of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2022. He was born October 30, 1962, to William and Joan Mayfield, of Colorado Springs, CO.
He was married to the love of his life and best friend Theresa M. (Terri) Bigley for 36 years. From that union came two children Anthony James (Tony) and Jeanette Marie (Jene), who he adored more than anything, as family was everything to him.
Along with his wife Terri, Gary was the proud owner of four Denver area SERVPRO Franchises for 36 years.
An avid hunter, he enjoyed pheasant hunting in South Dakota and dove hunting in Colorado. Gary was thrilled to experience a safari hunt in South Africa and more recently, a brown bear hunt in Alaska.
A devout Catholic, Gary was a member of Saint Mark Catholic Church, Highlands Ranch. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as Grand Knight.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Terri, son Tony and his fiancé Monica Herrmann, of Parker, daughter Jene Harrison and her husband Matt of Castle Rock. Other survivors include his parents William and Joan Mayfield, brother Bill and wife Eileen of New Jersey, sister Karen Dubois and husband Patrick of Colorado Springs, and his mother-in-law Patricia Bigley, also of Colorado Springs, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary also leaves to mourn his passing his very spoiled dogs Izzy, Cami, and Whiskey.
