Glenn Kraft, a dedicated professor of education, passed away on May 20, 2024 in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 90. Born on December 19, 1933, in Kankakee, Illinois, Glenn's life was marked by a profound commitment to learning and teaching.
Throughout his career as a professor Glenn demonstrated exceptional skill and passion for education. He was known not only for his prowess but also for his nurturing demeanor towards those he taught.
Aside from his professional endeavors, Glenn had a rich tapestry of interests and hobbies. He found solace and joy in church work, engaging in bible studies, and attending concerts. These activities provided him with a sense of fulfillment outside the classroom.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved spouse Sharron Kraft. His memory will be cherished by his children: Steve Kraft of Omaha, NE; Glenn Kraft of St. Louis, MO; Mark Kraft of Denver, CO. Additionally, he leaves behind grandchildren Amanda Alrutz, Kaitlin Mendoza, and Emily Kraft; as well as great-grandchildren Ellie Alrutz, Max Alrutz, Mia Mendoza, and Leo Mendoza. His sister Carol Anderson will also fondly remember him.
Glenn Kraft's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched both professionally and personally. He will be remembered for his intellect, kindness, and unwavering dedication to education. May he rest in peace.
A service will be held on June 29, 2024 at 10am at Shepherd of the Hills, 7691 South University, Centennial, CO 80122.
