Igor Tkac

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Igor Michael Tkac. Igor left this world unexpectedly on 6/24/2024 due to a motorcycle accident in Aurora, Colorado.

Born on July 20, 1971, in Bratislava, Slovakia, Igor moved to Colorado at the age of 10, where he built a life full of love, creativity, and adventure.

Igor was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal, who describes him as the love of her life and best friend. He leaves behind their two adoring daughters, Simone (14) and Maya (11), who say he was "the best Dad ever." Igor is also survived by his mother, Olga; sister, Tatiana; and niece, Diana.

A talented and innovative artist, graphic designer, and airbrush artist, Igor founded Igor's T-shirts in 1995 and poured his heart and soul into the family business, which took many forms over the years. His artistry included photography and building with his hands. He was also very passionate about Concept Art and ran multiple websites, including Conceptships.blogspot.com, showcasing and collaborating with up-and-coming and established concept artists in the film and aerospace industry. There are many testaments to how much Igor helped people in their careers through this passion project and he took so much pride in that. Igor also enjoyed teaching airbrushing to kids through Denver Public Library programs. Despite his immense talent, Igor remained incredibly humble.

Igor's zest for life was evident in his many interests. He was an avid skateboarder since childhood and also loved snowboarding, bicycling, and motorcycle riding. He lived for camping and traveling adventures with his family and could spend hours gazing at the stars and moon.

Known for his larger-than-life personality and infectious spark, Igor was a hero, comedian, entertainer, and cheerleader to his family and friends. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched the lives of many. He was always there for those who needed him.

A Celebration of Igor's Life will be held on July 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Fossil Trace Golf Club, located at 3050 Illinois St, Golden, CO 80401.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to: The Tim Brauch Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting skateboarding and creativity as positive influences in young people's lives.

Igor's legacy of creativity, passion, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched.
