James (Jim) Conning McMillan

We are distraught to announce the passing of James (Jim) Conning McMillan, aged 69, formerly of Wall and Brick, NJ. Jim left us quickly and without pain on November 21, 2022 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ellen McMillan, two children and their partners: Emily (McMillan) Garza and Ernesto Garza, and James McMillan and Kate Rimkunas; a grandson, Luca Garza; a brother and his partner, Richard McMillan and Kim Schmidt; and nieces and nephews. 

Jim will be fondly remembered for his love of his family, hard work and loyalty, passion for cross country and track, affection for summer weather, interest in traveling and dry wit. He was a leader, coach, loving father and devoted husband. 

Jim was able to complete his final wish, donating his organs, which will be widely used to help others, through the Donor Alliance program.  

The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present. We invite you to celebrate his memory, to share a personal reflection with the family, and to say a prayer for him.
