John Emit Hurdelbrink, 40, unexpectedly passed away at home in Thornton, Colorado on October 22, 2018. John was born on November 8, 1977 in Aurora, Colorado to Emit and Carol Hurdelbrink. John grew up in Thornton Colorado and attended schools in the Thornton area. John started volunteering at Northglenn Ambulance in 1996 and became a Paramedic in 2000. After receiving his POST certification, John worked for Commerce City Police Department and Northglenn Police Department. John was currently working for Triple C Communications in Englewood, Colorado as the Logistics Coordinator and Warehouse Manager and loving every moment. John loved to travel. He was always willing to talk about his time in Antarctica as a Fire Fighter. John loved to serve others and the people of his community. John was a member of a numerous volunteer organizations including Rocky Mountain Ham Radio, Colorado AuxComm and a member of Northglenn Masonic Lodge 194 A.F.A.M.
John is survived by both parents Emit Hurdelbrink (Kristy Allison) and Carol Hurdelbrink, his sister Lisa Pettis (Greg Pettis) and niece Faith Pettis and of course Oscar. Aunts: Doris Liesenfeld, Cynde Gavito, Mary Sutton, Tami Kelly. Uncles: Pat Hurdelbrink. And numerous cousins.
