John Wolfe, Sr.

John Wolfe Sr., 79, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 10, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, John built a life rooted in dedication to his work, his passions and most importantly, his family. A longtime insurance professional, John spent 47 years serving clients with Shelter Insurance/ MFA Insurance Companies. Due to hard work and dedication throughout his career, he earned many awards and accolades including Colorado Agent of the year.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He shared 51 loving years of marriage with his wife and high school sweetheart, Mary, and together they raised a close-knit family of 6 children. He is survived by: Michael (wife Tanya), Tracy (husband Russ), Annie (dog Buddy), John Jr. (wife Delise), Robert (wife Marlene), and Theodore (wife Lindsey). John was deeply proud of his family and took great joy in his role as a grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

John had a zest for life and an eye for the little things that brought joy—whether it was watching Nebraska Cornhusker football games, car shopping, going to movies, spending weekends with family and friends or taking a drive in the mountains, he enjoyed life to the fullest. His warmth, sense of humor, and unmistakable smile will be missed by all who knew him.
