Julie Ann Goodwin

She had long careers in both the restaurant and mortgage industries, and was known for her warm smile and infectious laughter. Learning was her true passion and she rarely sat still. She achieved numerous certifications and licensures and mastered skills in multiple professions. Julie also loved to sing uplifting songs at work, bringing joy and inspiration to those around her. 

Aside from her work, Julie had many interests and passions. She cherished time spent with her husband, family and friends, as they meant everything to her. She also loved reading, sunbathing, and spending time with her dogs. Her love of life was contagious, and she brought joy to all those around her. 

Julie was married to Terry Goodwin on July 7, 2000, and was the proud mother of her favorite son, Brandon Barnes, born on May 11, 1981. Her family was the center of her world, and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

Julie was a woman of deep faith, believing in God as the father and almighty. This faith provided her with comfort and peace throughout her life. 

Throughout her life, Julie was known for her kindness, generosity, and love of life. She had a unique ability to make everyone she met feel special, and her warmth and positivity will be deeply missed. Julie wanted us all to love each other, smile often and not to forget to enjoy the humor life offers. 

Julie is survived by her loving husband Terry, her son Brandon and wife Jackie, her parents Anita and husband Steve, Spencer and his wife Martha, her brother David, and sisters Angela and husband Dan, Kelly and her husband Pat, Michelle and her husband Mike, Kimberly and her husband Neil, grandchildren Rileigh, Cole, Gracie, Adison, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A celebration of Julie's life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Calvary Chapel South in Littleton, Colorado. Friends and family will gather to share memories and pay their respects. Please feel free to stop by and share the laughs, memories and reminiscing. We know this is what Julie would want.
