June "Granny June" Najimian
March 31, 1931 — December 2, 2020
June “Granny June” Najimian, age 89, passed away on December 2, 2020, at Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colorado. She was born on March 31, 1931, in New Jersey and resided in Lake Bluff, Illinois; Stuart, Florida; and ultimately settled in Colorado, living in Aurora and Littleton.
June was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an adventurous, witty, and resilient soul who traveled internationally to hike and ski well into her 70's. She loved kids and spent many years working in the church nursery. June was a helper, always willing to lend a hand. Her profound generosity and her candid comments brought a smile to many. But, most of all, June loved her family, especially her two grandsons.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, the love of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Hanebrink (Tim), grandsons Kai Blakeborough (Lauren) and Corey Blakeborough (Rachelle), and great-grandchildren Michael, Aaliyah, Keran, Riley, and Raiya.
There will be a celebration of June’s life on Monday, April 26th at 10 am at The Southeast Christian Church, 9650 Jordan Road, Parker, CO 80134.
