Kenneth Luis King

Kenneth (aka Ken and Kenny) Luis King 60, passed away peacefully on April 27 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Ken was raised in Santa Venetia attending Blessed Sacrament, Santa Venetia Middle School, Marin Catholic High School (1981) and University of San Francisco (1988). He is now reunited with his parents, Richard and Amaya King.

Ken worked many years as a bartender at several establishments in San Francisco, including Dooleys Pub, Balboa Cafe and Rockin Robins to name a few.  After college he continued his education at the Computer Learning Center and became a sought after consultant specializing in EDI (electronic data interchange). He worked in the software industry for many companies, such as Asics, Nike, Columbia, Goldbug and WhiteWave/Danone. He re-located to Denver in 2013 and was a full-time employee of Karcher NA at the time of his passing. 

If you were lucky enough to know
Ken, you knew he had an infectious spirit, a huge heart and a he always made you feel special. He was always up for a fun time and he especially enjoyed his rugby years playing for the Marin Lions. He had a passion for all sports but his favorite pastime was listening to live music.

Ken will be deeply missed by his partner Tiffany Smith, sons Alexander, Kristofer and Oliver King. Siblings, Rich King (Julie), Steve King and Laura King, nephews Michael and Bobby King and niece Daphne Jennings.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 8 at 11 AM at St. Vincent's Chapel, 1 St Vincent Drive, San Rafael, CA 94903.
