We are honoring our beautiful, loving, effervescent mother, Linda Kathleen Little. The world was blessed by her loving presence on February 19, 1950, and she gained her angel wings on January 31, 2024.
Linda was born in St Louis, Missouri. Her and her brother, Tom, were adopted by her parents, Joe and Minnie Brown. Their family relocated to Wheat Ridge, Colorado in 1954. Linda excelled at school and graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1968. Linda met Dan Little in 1967. The two fell madly in love and were married in 1968. They were happily married 27 years and raised their three children, Timothy, Billy, and Brooke, in a very loving home.
Linda immediately lit up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people. She was a joyful presence whose kindness, positivity, and warmth radiated through her beautiful smile and laugh.
She had an amazing sense of humor, and her wit was unmatched. Her every action was filled with kindness, generosity, love, and compassion. It’s hard to put into words the extreme strength Linda lived her life with. Her tenacity and courage made her the strongest woman we know.
Linda was incredibly talented and creative in many aspects of her life. She excelled at art, playing piano, teaching piano, baking, cooking, seamstressing, learning new cutting-edge technology, interior decorating, and hosting parties. Most of all, she shined at being the most incredible mother and best friend her children could have ever asked for.
Linda is her children’s hero. They love and adore her. She taught them integrity, loyalty, leading with kindness and compassion, always seeing the best in people, generosity in service of others, and imbued them with confidence necessary to pursue life with a pervasive, contagious zest. When anyone says that her children remind them of their Mother, they take it as the highest compliment they could ever receive. She is simply magnificent.
Linda will be greatly missed by all those that she’s left behind. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. Linda will always be remembered by her children, Timothy, William (Billy), and Brooke; former spouse and father to their children, Daniel Little; her brother Tom Brown and his family; the Little family; and many friends. Linda has been welcomed into heaven and reunited with her parents, Joe and Minnie Brown.
Linda’s Celebration of Life will be held at Abiding Hope Lutheran Church (6337 S Robb way in Littleton) at 11am on Friday, February 16th. A reception to follow at the church. We invite you to wear colorful colors to her celebration. If you wish to make a donation in her honor, we encourage you to make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
No Linda celebration would be complete without margaritas! Please join Billy and Brooke at Hacienda Colorado (4100 E Mexico Ave in Denver) on Friday, February 16th at 6pm.
If you are able to join us at Hacienda, please RSVP here: http://evite.me/6AvasVUNTW
