Linda Eileen Trueman

Linda Eileen Trueman, 79, of Denver, Co. went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Sunrise Memory Care Facility, with her husband Wayne steadfast at her side. She was born on November 16, 1944, in upstate New York to Gilbert (G.L) and Mildred Allen. Linda graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1967. She moved from Seattle to Denver in 1971, where she became a leader for the Pioneer Girls. In Denver she met and later married her husband Wayne Trueman on December 14, 1974, in Denver, where they first met. Linda lovingly raised her three boys during their formative years as a stay-at-home mom, after which she worked as a teacher for high school special education students.

Always having such a passion for life and people, there was never a dull moment with Linda around. Her smile radiated and she always loved having a good laugh. She was never afraid to cut loose and sing or dance in any situation. Linda had so many close friends who dearly loved her. She was an accomplished violinist and played at South Presbyterian Church for many years. She also enjoyed cooking and baked the most delicious raisin sugar cookies known to man. Linda loved working out at the local YMCA near the home she shared with Wayne. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed enough to know her and will be remembered for her passion for living life to its fullest.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Lewis (G.L.) and Mildred Allen and her sister, Nola Spaulding. She is survived by her husband, Wayne, her three sons Ryan, Jared, and Matt and their wives Mary Ann, Agnes, and Monica, her three brothers, Neil, Keith, and Kurt and their wives Vickie, Marta, and Sonia, along with countless friends who felt her warmth. Her legacy continues through her seven grandkids (who adored their Nana), Adam, Savannah, Elaina, Joshua, Mikayla, Abigail, and Ezekiel. Linda’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at Waterstone Church in Littleton, CO (located at 5890 S Alkire St, Littleton, CO 80127) on September 21, 2024, at 9:00 am. A short graveside service will follow at 12:00 pm at Olinger Cemetery (6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121). Please join us in honoring and cherishing her memory. The honor of pallbearer is bestowed upon her sons Ryan, Jared, and Matt, her brother Neil, and her beloved grandsons Adam and Joshua.
