Lisa A. Bishop

Lisa Ann (Dennis) Bishop, 63, of Highlands Ranch, CO, passed away April 13, 2023, at the Littleton Adventist Hospital, with her husband, John and daughter, Erica holding her hands. She was born October 9, 1959, in Topeka, KS, to Arthur and Elizabeth (Ingenthron) Dennis. She was the youngest of five children.

She graduated from Hayden High School in 1977, then worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone where she met John. They were married December 16, 1989, at Assumption Catholic Church, living in Topeka until John was transferred to Colorado 30 years ago. She always said they had more company after moving to Colorado than while living in Topeka, and she loved it. Family and friends traveling to Colorado were always welcomed into their home and shown a great time.

While Erica was in school she spent a lot of time volunteering with the school. Later she worked for Trice Jewelers.

Lisa enjoyed scuba diving. She also liked to crochet making beautiful rose bedspreads. She would crochet afghans for anyone that asked and even more that she donated to various organizations.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Art; grandparents William and Marie Dennis and George and Elizabeth Ingenthron. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Erica (Meier) and James Einboden; grandson Keagan Lips(21), and granddaughters Elliana(14) and Kyla(11) Einboden; mother Elizabeth; sisters Pam (Tom) Morse and Tina (Bill) Gartner; and brothers Kirby (Mary) Dennis; and Doug (Brenda) Dennis; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A rosary will be said at 9:30 am on June 8, 2023, with a memorial Mass immediately following at 10:00 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka, KS.
