Lola L. Pettitt

Lola L. Pettitt died peacefully on December 12, 2024 at the age of 76 as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on August 29, 1948, in La Junta, CO, to the parents of Clyde and Aline Stewart.

Lola met her husband Gary Pettitt at the church they both attended. They met just a few days before Valentine’s Day, had their first date on Valentine’s and were married one month later on March 12, 1977.

When Gary and Lola met, she was employed by Mountain Bell. God blessed them with a son, Aaron, in January 1978. She felt especially blessed because she had been told by her doctors that she would never be able to have children.

Lola was preceded in death by her son, Aaron; daughter, Kelly; her parents, Clyde and Aline Stewart; sisters, Jerre and Marie and her brother, Clyde. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her brother, Stanly and one sister, Dorothy.

Lola's family will hold her Funeral Service on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Heflebower Funeral and Cremation Services, 8955 S. Ridgeline Blvd Suite 100 (SW corner), Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. The Viewing will be from 11am to 12pm and the service from 12pm to 12:30pm. Parking in the front of the funeral home is limited - guests can park behind the building, or adjacent to the funeral home at the Aquatics Center. 

A Celebration Gathering will be held at her church, Littleton Bible Chapel, 6023 S Datura St, Littleton, CO beginning at 1pm. Please feel free to stop by and share in the memories and reminiscing. We know this is what Lola would want. www.littletonbiblechapel.com
