Mario Munoz
Wednesday December the 16th, 2020 My loving husband passed in peace at the young age of 37, If he could tell you himself he wasn't a day over eighteen. He was born and raised in East LA so proud to be a California native. He had a passion which I called an obsession with the Los Angeles Dodgers & the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, oh how he loved the Raiders so loyal to the team win or lose it didn't faze him.
Mario was number four of five children born to Guadalupe & Rigoberto Munoz as a child he was nothing short of a tyrant just ask his mom how he once fell out of a two story window with not even a scratch on him or how he slit his eyebrow after tripping and falling on a VHS cassette. I'm sure you remember those if not look it up.
Oh how he loved saying inappropriate things to get his parents attention, He was a bright and hard working kid. Proud to the fact that as a child he sold candies in the neighborhood & as a teenager he would help his dad with his business at the local swap-meet. He truly was proud to tell his stories. Happy, Sad and Strange stories always wanted to be just like his older brothers even if he was too young to hang out with them, Always finding a way to fit in. Today if you ask those closest to Mario they will agree that he is one of a kind his infectious smile, his kind and compassionate spirit but most of all his love & devotion to his family.
I was fortunate enough to be his wife. Together we shared the most special times I have ever known he is and will always be my best friend and most cherished love.
Mario left behind his Mom Guadalupe, his Dad Rigoberto, Wife Kim,
Daughter Angelica, Son Mario Matthew, Older Brothers Rigo, Ramiro(Ram) & Jose(Tony), His favorite Sister Mayra (Gorda), his Godson Joe(Joey)who he loved dearly, His beautiful nieces Jessica (Jess),Monique(Pooh) & Sole
Nephews Rigo111(Big Boy), Anthony, Angel & Myrin(the lil homie) Plus countless extended family and friends all held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly.
As long as we remember a person they are not really gone, their thoughts, their feelings, their memories they become a part of us.
