Mary Ann Durbrow

Mary Ann Durbrow 63 of Fort Collins, Colorado formerly of Burlington, Vermont died on the 14th December in a Denver hospital . Mary Ann was a graduate of Burlington High School. She loved nature and spent many summers as a caretaker at a Long Trail cabin on Mount Mansfield. She loved animals and frequently returned home with a stray dog in tow. Horse riding was a passion in her youth. It was a love of the outdoors that took her west, first to Idaho and then to Colorado. She loved the “big sky”. Her assistance dog, Ruthie, was a great comfort to her in recent years. Mary Ann was the daughter of Lloyd (Pete) and Ann Durbrow and is survived by her sisters, Harriet (Sandy) of Manchester England and Claire (Peter) of Hampton Falls, NH and numerous cousins. Mary Ann found great strength in her faith which will have been a comfort to her during her extended illness. May she rest in peace.
