Ora Sue Slaughter

Sue Slaughter, 68 passed away May 5, 2016 at her home.
Sue was born on January 30, 1948 in Jacksonville, Texas to Horton Frank and Edna (Coke) Aslin. she graduated from High School in Lakewood, Colorado.
Sue married Harold Dale Slaughter, Jr. on March 29, 1967 in Oceanside, California while Dale was in the Marines.
Sue worked at Mountain Bell while Dale was away in Vietnam.
Their first son, Lonny was born in December of 1973, followed by their daughter Lynnlee and second son Loren.
She and Dale owned and operated D & S Enterprises until her death.
Sue is survived by her husband of 49 years, her daughter Lynnlee (Matt) Farrell and son Loren (Caitlin Wells), grandchildren; Ashlynn, Avery, Abbylynn, Madison and Jacob. Also her sisters, Katie (Alan) Houghton and Mary Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her son Lonny in 1988 and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday 5/12 at Heflebower Funeral Services and from 9:00 AM until Service time at the church Friday.
Interment will be at 11:30 AM - Friday May 13, 2016 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, friends and family meet at Staging area B by 11:15 AM.
