Pieper Shear

Pieper Shear, born 6/24/53 in Johnstown, PA was a lifelong lover of life, nature, books, birds, arts, crafts, music, family and friends. A brilliant master baker who always had a beautiful meal prepared for anyone who stopped by, she was a true blessing to share time and space with. Pieper's amazing attitude, charm and wit made everyone she encountered feel loved, supported and enlightened.

Pieper came to the end of her journey with health complications in Wheat Ridge, CO on October 9th, 2023. Preceded in death by her father Fred Sawyer, mother Gertrude Sawyer, brothers Rick and Tom Sawyer. Survived by husband Jerry Heffernan the love of her life, proud son Noah Shear, his wife Heather Shear, soulmate granddaughter Alexa Shear, and bonus daughter Kalyn Heffernan. Services December 4, 2023 at Sons of Italy (Wheat Ridge, CO) 12pm.
