Mr. Priyeshbhai Dinkarray Yagnik, age 74, passed away on February 20th following complications from a cardiac arrest. He was born in June 1946 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to Mr. Dinkarray Yagnik and Mrs. Kusum Yagnik.
Growing up, he supported imports/exports for his family-owned handicrafts business, Dinkrafts. He went on to graduate from Bhavan’s College with a B.A. in Psychology and spent a year in New York City promoting Dinkrafts overseas. Following his marriage in 1970, he continued to live and work in Ahmedabad – his lively nature matching the hustle and bustle of the city.
In 2000, he began a new chapter when he moved to Denver, CO to be with his children and grandchildren. During his 20-year career in customer service, he was well-known for his friendly presence and unique ability to build relationships with friends and strangers alike. A true embodiment of spirited activity and selfless service, customers often chose to wait in his line for a chance to speak with him.
All who met Mr. Priyeshbhai Yagnik remember him for his never-ending generosity, enthusiastic nature, and pure heart. Mr. Priyeshbhai Yagnik was an irreplaceable father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and role-model. He is survived by his wife, Jyotshnaben Yagnik; his brother and sister-in-law, Chandravadanbhai and Devikaben Yagnik, his eldest daughter and son-in-law, Aditi and Nimesh Dave; his son and daughter-in-law, Sunand and Jigisha Yagnik; his four granddaughters, and countless close relatives.
Mr. Priyeshbhai Yagnik maintained his zest for life until his final moments. His memory will be carried in our hearts forever.
