It is with great sorrow to announce that Ri Sook Molnar, or known by her christened name, Cecilia Molnar, has passed away on June 18, 2018, at the age of 82.
Funeral services and Mass for Ri Sook will be June 26, 2018 10:00 am at Heflebower Funeral Services, 8955 S. Ridgeline Blvd. Suite 100, Highlands Ranch CO 80129. Her burial will be June 28, 2018 3:00 pm, Seven Stones - Botanical Gardens Cemetery, 9635 North Rampart Range Road, Littleton, CO 80125.
Ri Sook passed away peacefully Monday, June 18, 2018, at Denver Hospice and Palliative Care located in Denver, Colorado.
An accomplished structural engineer, she retired from a life of civil service with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Ri Sook is remembered as an active member of St. Lawrence Korean Catholic Church in Aurora, Colorado and volunteer at St. Anna’s Assisted Living Home, also located in Aurora, Colorado.
Among her family that mourn her loss are daughters, Jean Young Wiest and Lori Kim Marion; grandchildren Amber DeVilbiss, Patrick Wiest, Krystal Wiest, Madison McCaughtry, and Allison Wiest; beloved sisters Choon Ja and Gun Ja Kim, and their family Sung Ku Lee, Chan Lee, Jun Lee, Pung Ro, Hyong Lee, Yeon Lee, and Ki Seung Lee.
