Rick was born on May 23, 1961, to Ethel and Everett Eastridge in Denver, Colorado. Rick was one of six siblings in the Eastridge family.
Rick married Susan “Sue” Eastridge on July 16, 1983. They lived in Littleton where they had two sons: David and Adam. Growing up in Colorado, Rick enjoyed fishing, camping, and live music and was the biggest Denver Broncos fan. Rick became a skilled craftsman, eventually starting his own business, Rick’s Custom Tile. Eventually, his youngest son, Adam, joined him in the business. Rick’s impressive attention to detail and pride in his work made him a desired contractor to work with. As a businessman, Rick was just and fair. Rick would often offer to help those in his life with home repairs or improvements in his free time, never letting the integrity of his work suffer.
Rick was known for his unbelievable ability to accept others, despite their faults and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and frequently volunteered for the Salvation Army. Being over 14 years sober himself, Rick helped others overcome addiction and find religion that led to a life of sobriety. Rick was an unbelievable father, PaPa, and friend to so many.
He will be forever missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
Rick is survived by his wife Sue, two sons David and Adam, grandson Lincoln, mother Ethel, and siblings Bob, Gary, and Diane.
A service for Rick will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church on January 13, 2024, at 11AM at 1701 W Caley Ave, Littleton, Colorado 80120.
