Rita T. Levesque

Rita T. Levesque, age 99, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 at Caley Ridge Assisted Living in Englewood, Colorado. Rita was born June 28, 1923 in Westbrook, Maine to Eugene and Annette (Berube) Girard. She was a graduate of Westbrook High School. Rita married Henry Levesque, also of Westbrook, in October 1945. She was a longtime resident of Westbrook before moving to Manchester, Maine in 1974 where she resided until relocating to Colorado in 2019.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, “Pete” and Annette, and her husband, “Hank,” who passed in 1976. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Becky Levesque of Castle Rock, Colorado; three grandsons, Christopher of Lakewood, Colorado, Stephen of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Eric of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and three great-grandchildren, Layla, Madison, and Gavin.

Her remains will be returned to Westbrook at a future date where she will be laid to rest beside her husband at St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Rita’s name should be made in the form of a mass or other remembrance at place of worship
