Ronald Arthur Lee Cole Jr. was Born to Penny Lopez and Ronald Cole Sr. on 11/02/1966 in Compton, CA.
When Ron was young, he had really bad asthma. It plagued him night and day. It didn't stop him he played outside as much and long as he could, knowing his mom had all the meds he would need to feel better.
His best memories of growing up in Compton was going in the backyard and picking an assortment of fruit right off the trees, his favorite was Pluots it's similar to a plum.
The family moved to CO when Ron was 10. His Dad had work here and National Jewish Hospital took care of Ron's Asthma. He seemed to get better every year. All this time he would learn about Jehovah from his mother Penny.
When Ron got older he joined the marching band playing trombone. He was also a part of the swim team and choir at West High School graduating in 1984.
Funny enough Ron and Geno Abeyta his brother by choice made a deal to have Ron join swim if Geno joined choir, leading to a life long friendship. Ron managed a band called H.O.T.R. (husband's on the run). The members Geno drums, Lane bass guitar, Andy lead guitar, Bart head singer, part of Ron's job was to dance with the wife's so others wouldn't bother them.
Ron had many talents and hobbies like fishing, cooking, and religion. He was baptized in 2001. His careers included band management, EMT, Banker and a Storage facility General Manager where he worked when he met and married his wife Anna Rivera 4/23/17. He particularly loved fishing with his friends Geno and Auggie. He had a great appreciation for nature him and his wife often feed the ducks while praising Jehovah for all the beautiful things he created. The two also enjoyed going on cruises especially to the Bahamas, playing cards and studying about Jehovah.
Ron will be missed by all especially for his love for Jehovah and his bad jokes.
Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Ronald Cole senior, mother Penny Lopez, and stepfather Armando Lopez.
He is survived by his stepmother Isabel Cole, his wife Anna Rivera, his brother by choice Geno Abeyta, Step Daughters Elizabeth, Miranda and Mikaela, step grandkids, Jasmine, Finn, Jaxon, Tyler, Bradley and many others.
