It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Ryan Edward Moffitt after a long battle with cancer, age 41. Ryan was born March 18, 1981 and died surrounded by family and love Nov 4, 2022. His inspiration will live on.
Ryan lived his early years in Kearns, Utah and moved to the Littleton Colorado area graduating from Chatfield High School in 1999. He earned his associate’s degree in criminal justice and worked in the security business and later moved to health care where he found his passion.
Ryan is survived by his parents Lesa Moffitt (Tait), Phil Moffitt; siblings Chad Moffitt and Anna Moffitt; Partner Jenn Weber; ex-wife Corrine Sanchez. Uncles Kelly Moffitt, Don Tait (deceased), Robert Tait (deceased), Jerry Tait, Gordon Tait and Vern Tait. Deceased Grandparents Max Tait and Anna Lathem; Edward Moffitt and Doris Bowman.
Ryan liked working out, golfing, spending time in the outdoors and chilling with family and friends. His new passion was watching his nephew Avery Ryan grow up.
Ryan’s bravery and determination has been an inspiration to all he touched. He is our Hero and will be missed.
A casual Celebration of Life with lite refreshments is scheduled for Friday, Nov 11 between the hours of 4-7pm at the Heflebower Funeral Services location in Highlands Ranch, 8955 South Ridgeline Blvd Ste 100, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. Another Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the spring of 2023 at the Moffitt residence in Buena Vista Colorado.
