Salvador Ruben Mackintosh

Salvador Ruben Mackintosh age 90 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was born on October 22,1933 to Salvador and Esther Mackintosh in Denver, CO. Ruben graduated from Manual High School in 1952. He served in Korea before coming back home and returning to work at La Hacienda. Ruben married Carole Wilson on November 4, 1956 at Annunciation Church. He has four children Pamela, Paula, Tracy, and Jason.

Ruben was happiest when at Tosh’s Hacienda where he could meet new people and reconnect with family and friends.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Esther and his sisters, Vicky, Helen and Beatrice. 

He is survived by his brothers, Ben, and Arturo; his sister, Elva; his wife, Carole; his daughters, Pamela and Paula; his sons, Tracy and Jason; his grandchildren, Celine, Yasmine,  Isabella, Christopher, Colton, Lydia, Kaiya, Lucas, Caden and Blake, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 S. Quebec Street, Centennial, Colorado 80112. Committal Service with full military honors on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 1:30pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "B", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
