Sara Smith

Sara Smith age 40 passed away on Friday September 22, 2023 at her Aurora home surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1983, in Denver Colorado to Lorenzo and Suzanne Smith.

 

Sara graduated in 2001 from Eagle Crest High School. She worked as a teller at the commissary at Buckley Air Force base and her last job was a 911 Operator for the Arapahoe County in Aurora. She was so proud of that job and all the hard work it took her to get it, but it was cut short due to her illness.

 

Sara struggled daily with heart failure, but she faced it head on with a smile and the greatest attitude. She had a wonderful support system with family that she loved so much, and her friends that would come and visit her and take her out of the house when she was able. It meant the world to her. She had purpose here on earth and I truly believe she touched many lives and made us better people.

 

Sara is survived by her parents Lorenzo and Suzanne. All her Aunties and Uncles and many many cousins. And all her amazing friends that she so dearly loved.
