Sena Marie Collier

Sena Marie Collier, age 59, passed away on Tuesday evening October 26, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She was born December 13, 1961 in Denver, Colorado to Dawn and Leon Opager. Sena grew up in Sheridan, Colorado and was a graduate of Sheridan High School. She married Larry Allen Collier on August 10, 1979 in Golden, Colorado. Through their love, Sena and Larry created a family of seven with five children.

Sena was a loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt, sister, daughter and friend. She was a true Daddy’s Girl. She loved to dance, cook, and crochet. She took great pride in making picture memory blankets for her family. She poured her love into making capes and blankets for the newborns of her family to come home from the hospital. She loved being a mother to her five children and loved her husband dearly.

Sena was preceded in death by her parents, Dawn and Leon and her sister Deborah (Debby). She is survived by her adoring husband, Larry Allen; her beloved children Joseph, Justin, Jacob, Jesse, and Jessica; her precious granddaughter Izabella; her sister Kathleen; her bothers Kim and Michael; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sena’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at The Dixon Chapel at Cherry Hills. 3908 Grace Blvd. Highlands Ranch, Colorado 80126 on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 9:30 AM. There will be a graveside service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO 80236, staging area C, promptly at 11:15 AM. A reception will be held after at Harvey Park Christian Church, 3401 S. Lowell Blvd, Denver, CO 80236. Please join us in celebrating her life.
