Sharon Kay Allen, age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2021, at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora. She was born May 30, 1952, in Dodge City Kansas, to Dean Beebe and CarmaLee (Deniston) Beebe. Sharon graduated from Minneola High School in 1970. She studied with a focus in art at Emporia State University from the fall of 1970-1972. She married Darrell Adrian in 1972, and together they had two sons Kevin and Ryan. Sharon married George Allen in November 1984. Sharon had a unique and diverse career which included serving to prevent domestic violence, kitchen manager for the Elks club, co-owner and manager of an auction house in the heart of Denver, and division vice president at a mortgage company. She enjoyed gardening and converted her entire yard to an amazing xeriscape with the goal of attracting the types of birds she loved to watch. One of Sharon’s favorite pastimes was to watch college basketball, especially if KU was playing. Sharon was committed to the lord and enjoyed sharing her faith with family and with friends through regular attendance with her bible group. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and CarmaLee and her stepdaughter Donna. She is survived by her husband, George; her sons Kevin and wife Jennifer; Ryan and wife Shalane; stepson Brian and wife Jennifer; stepdaughter Diane; her two sisters Eileen and Sylvia; her brother Keith; her granddaughters Elyse, Morgan, and Paige; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sharon’s family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at Three Trees Chapel 13416 W Arbor Pl, Littleton, CO 80127 on January 4 at 11 am. Please feel free to attend and share in the laughs, memories, and reminiscing. We know this is what Sharon would want.
