Shawn Marie Pinto

Shawn Marie Pinto (56) earned her angel wings on her way to heaven May 7, 2016. She was born July 9, 1959 in Inglewood, Ca. to David and Mary Ann (Small) Moore. She graduated from Alta Loma High School, Ca. and from California Polytechnic University, in Pomona Ca.

After graduation Shawn ventured off to Colorado to be a ski bum for a while. She met Glenn Pinto there and they were married at Ski Tip Ranch in Summit County April 30, 1983. They were married for 30 years and raised two amazing children, Colton David and Jenna Rae Pinto.

Shawn simply loved life, especially her family and friends. She loved skiing, hikes and walks, and anything that was a happening. Some of her favorite things involved trips and family vacations, which were spent with her own family, parents, sister Karen Barstow, brother in law David and their children Samantha and Chas. She also enjoyed summer trips to Fairview Lake with her sister in law Carol (Beeds) Yandle, brother in law Bill and their children Jonathan and Katie.

She cherished all of her relationships in the community from soccer groups to neighbors, bunco and book clubs. We will miss seeing her, nobody will ever fill that spot but her spirit will be with us forever.
