Shelia Jacobson

Shelia Marcus Jacobson age 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Denver Hospice. She was born November 29, 1948 in Hanford, WA to Leonard and Dommie (Zulkoski) Nekuda. Shelia was a 1966 graduate of West High School. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1970 and received her Master Degree in Management in 2003.

She was married to Kenneth Marcus from January 16, 1971 in Denver until their divorce in 2001. Shelia then met the love of her life, Marvin “Jake” Jacobson, whom she married on December 28, 2008.

Shelia worked in various industries including banking, mining, logistics and technology. She was an avid traveler, having visited all 50 states and 5 continents. She enjoyed needlepoint and trivia, having qualified twice to appear on Jeopardy but unfortunately was never called to be on the show.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Dommie; her cats Tigger and Quinn and her dog, BaiLi. She is survived by her husband, Jake; her sister, Dee; her daughter, Lisa; her step-children Kimberly, Trevor and Zachary; her granddaughter Lexie and her step-granddaughters Huxley and Freya.

The Celebration of Life for Shelia will be held 9/22 from 1-4pm at the home of her daughter, Lisa Marcus. The Celebration will be open house style please stop by as you are able. If you need the address, please email Lisa at acemtgprocessing@gmail.com.
