Thomas Gerard “T” Stump, was born October 6th , 1964 to the late Rosemary Kelly and George Stump of Kansas City, Kansas. He is survived by his 6 siblings and their spouses: George & Ellie (deceased) Stump, Bill Stump, Mary Ann and Michael Cassidy, Jim and Linn Stump, John Stump and Regina and Don (deceased) Schneider. He had many adoring nieces and nephews. He was residing in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his much-adored son and best friend, Micah, daughter-in-law, Haley Stump, and his beloved granddaughters, Aria and Winter. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Annette Stump.
Tom graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1972, he then ventured to Durango, Colorado to start a new chapter. He had various odd jobs including working on an archeological dig, he enjoyed painting homes for he was very detail oriented. Because of his nostalgic admiration of printing (as his grandfather was an Editor) Tom retired from the Hampden Press Company. He loved his job and the friendships that came with it.
Tom’s kind, caring and loving nature touched all who knew him. He was a person who loved sitting in nature and listening to the stories that would unfold around him. He loved fishing and horseback riding in the mountains of Colorado. He was an accomplished classical guitarist and played during the Christmas Season’s in the local gift and antique shops. Tom was an avid Moody Blues fan from their very beginning. He was a rare and gentle soul whose friendship was a gift to all.
