Tricia Holmes

Tricia G. Holmes, age 53, of Littleton, CO, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1971, in Hastings, NE, and was the daughter of George and Charlene Miller (Klauz) of Hastings, NE.

Tricia grew up in Trumbull, NE and attended Trumbull Public School. She was highly involved in school activities. Also, she was a member of Berean Bible Church in Hastings. She graduated High School in 1989, then attended University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Tricia was a proud Cornhusker. Go big red. She later obtained two master’s degrees in Education and Educational Leadership.

Tricia was a loving wife to Matthew Holmes and selfless mother to Madeline, Bailey, and Quinn. She was a fun, generous woman who enjoyed gardening, travel, cooking, singing and dancing. She loved the outdoors and her dogs and cat. Her biggest joy was cheering her children on at sporting events. She will be remembered by the many lives she touched, both in and out of school. She had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile.

She will live on through her Husband, Matthew; her daughters: Madeline, Bailey (her fiance Joseph), and her son: Quinn; her parents George and Charlene Miller; her sisters and their spouses: Chad and Stacey Petersen, Galen and Amber Quick, Matt and Carrie Schliep; in addition to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton, CO on Tuesday, April 1st, at 1pm with a reception to follow.

Her funeral will be at Livingston Butler Volland in Hastings, NE on April 5th at 10 am, with burial at Parkview Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Trumbull Community Center in Trumbull, NE.
