Vikki Oravez

Vikki Sharree Oravez, age 48, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Skyridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado. She was born January 15, 1975, in Plano, Texas, to Stephen and Lana (Fouchey) King. She married John Robert Oravez Feb 14, 2002 in Colorado Springs, where they met. Vikki was a loving mother and wife who provided community service and homemaking and was a friendly, familiar face to many residents of Sedalia, Colorado.

Having a true passion for life, Vikki supported her husband in his community service as a Firefighter and for her son who is also a Firefighter and Daughter who is in the process of becoming an EMT with hopes of a future in community service. She enjoyed reading and photography and was always up for a board game or other family activity and spending time with her little doggy Bella. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her zest for life.

Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Lana. She is survived by her husband, John; her brother, Clint; her two sisters, Brandi and Christi; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Being the kind, compassionate person she was, Vikki asks that in lieu of flowers, please smile at a stranger or brighten someone’s day whenever you can; the world needs so much more love.

Vikki’s family wants to remind everyone to be kind, treat others with respect and leave the world a little better than you found it, imagine a world if we all did just that. We know this is what Vikki would want and we will carry her in our hearts forever. We love you Vikki, heaven got another angel.
