Wendi is survived by her mother, Peggy Morris (Dennis Lopez); her children who were her pride and joy, Chris (Rachel) and Colten Pelton; her grandchild, Ayla Pelton, and step children Ryan (Katie) Pelton and Toni Pelton (Kelby).
She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Morris; her sister, Cheryl Morris; and brother, David Morris.
Wendi was born on December 1, 1968 to Peggy and Larry. She worked as a full-time mother, victims advocate, entrepreneur as a private investigator and bail bond agent for many years and had dreams of starting a consignment store. Wendi enjoyed traveling wherever the warm sun would take her, spending lots of time with friends and family, hosting large gatherings, boating, glamping enjoying the many hot springs Colorado has to offer and capturing every special moment on camera. Wendi had the biggest heart a person could have; she was one of the strongest, most loving, compassionate, and selfless people. She was always willing to put her own interests aside to help someone no matter the situation. Wendi had a clever sense of humor and a contagious laugh; she was always smiling and saw the good in every situation. Wendi made a huge impact on many lives by following one of her biggest beliefs, which was “pay it forward”.
Wendi will be missed dearly, but her family will find comfort knowing she is now at peace and watching over them.
